Department for sustainibility and mobility

This unit emphasizes the relevance of sustainability and ethical behavior in the university environment and provides impulses for responsible and conscious consumer behavior. For this purpose, the representatives deal with different topics: They call for an expansion of the vegetarian and vegan, organic and regional offerings in the dining halls as well as the establishment of a sustainability committee at the university. In addition, the department is involved in the animal experimentation commission and in the area of student mobility, which includes the semester ticket and the AStA's cargo bike rental service.

Concrete projects such as the eco-box, food sharing or the student garden are also supervised by the Department for Sustainability and Mobility. Likewise, the organization of lecture series on various topics in the field of sustainability, ecology and animal welfare falls within the remit of the department.

Am meisten Bezugspunkte habt Ihr sicherlich mit dem Referat, wenn Ihr einen unserer Services nutzt. Dazu gehören die Fahrradpumpen, die Öko-Kiste auf dem Biomarkt, der studentische Garten, sowie der Lastenrad- und der Bulli-Verleih. Aber auch in Sachen Semester ticket sind wir Eure Ansprechpartner*innen Nummer Eins. Zuletzt möchten wir unserem Namen natürlich gerecht werden und bringen z.B. durch Vernetzungsarbeit mit der Stadt die Studi-Mobilität in Münster voran.
